Richard Finnimore - Hamble Valley Stick Club

Richard Finnimore

It is with great sadness that Hamble Valley Stick (41) Club announce the death of Richard Finnimore on Sunday 9th November 2014 aged 67 from complications associated with Acute Myeloid Leukemia which developed out of the blue earlier this year.

Richard joined Round Table at Basingstoke in 1971 and then moved to Hamble Valley Round Table in 1977 when he changed jobs.

He progressed to 41 Club and has been a stalwart member of Round Table and 41 Club, holding countless positions within both.

He was a keen yachtsman and spent as much time as he was able sailing in both home waters and overseas.

He always had a smile for everyone and will be sadly missed.

Our condolences are with Ann his wife, daughters Amanda and Nicola and all of his and their family and friends.
