Derek Parkin - Ulverston 41 Club

DEREK PARKIN

Ulverston 41 club are sad to confirm the passing of Derek Parkin on 29 October 2019. Derek was a very popular and active member and was rarely absent from our evening and lunch time meetings. He enjoyed good company and was our President in 1996/97 and again in 200/06.Previously he was a member of Preston.Burnley, Harpendon and Nelson Round Table before he joined Ulverston 41 Club. He was, until retirement, Barclays Bank Area Business Centre Manager and also a former Director of the Furness Building Society. He was well respected and was always available with plenty of good advice. He will be sadly missed by us all. He is survived by his wife, Pauline and children Sam and Simon and their families.
