Ken Newton - Oakengates 41 Club

Ken Newton.

1933 - 2017

Ken started his Table life in his home town of Retford Round Table and was their Chairman in 1966 and 1971, the family then moved with Ken’s job to Scarborough and there Ken was again Chairman of Scarborough Round Table and 41 Club.

The family moved again and Ken joined Baldock 41 Club and served as their President for 1988/89.

After moving to Shawbury in Shropshire in 2006 to be near to his Daughter Ken joined Oakengates 41 Club and was a very popular member serving as Chairman in 2010 and followed this as Treasurer up until his death at the beginning of this year.

He will be missed by all the members of Oakengates 41 Club.

Ken is survived by his wife Pat, Daughter and Son and Great Grandchildren.
