Chris Marsh - Shaftesbury & Gillingham 41 Club

Christopher Sidney John Marsh - Shaftesbury & Gillingham 41 Club.

Peacefully passed away at The Malthouse Care Home on 12^th August 2023 – aged 87.

Chris followed National Service as a time -served Joiner and spent his early years in the Building Trade. He decided to venture into Insulating houses in the 1960’s and set up a successful Insulation company that he ran till his retirement.

Chris built his own house in Milton on Stour, near Gillingham, until moving into The Malthouse Care Home in Gillingham in June 2020.

He started his Round Table career with Wincanton Round Table moving on to Shaftesbury & Gillingham 41 Club and was elected Chairman 1983 - 84.

Chris was awarded Life Membership of S & G 41 Club in 2021.
