Gary Day - Keynsham & Distrct 41 Club
Keynsham and District 41 club sadly announce the death of Gary Day on December 13th 2021.
Gary joined Keynsham and District Round Table in June 1970, transferred to Manchester Table in 1973, returning back to Keynsham in 1978.
Joining 41 club in 1979 under the age rule, he was an active member, known for his careful deliberations, pipe clamped firmly in his teeth, which was used as an extra digit when making a point!
Gary was devoted to his wife Shirley who sadly died following a struggle with dementia in 2015.
He was a keen sportsman, being an avid football fan and accomplished golfer, and was a successful businessman. He was Chairman 1988/1989 and although his deteriorating heath restricted his involvement in the recent years he will be well remembered by his club.
