Owen Church - Broadland 41 Club
Owen Leonard Church – (1942-2021)
It is with great sadness that Broadland 41 Club announce the death of Owen Church. Owen lived all his life in Norfolk – a real Norfolk boy. He took over Hemsby Post Office and general store in the mid 70’s and still resided at the shop until his death. He leaves his widow, Liz, and daughter, Claire who now run the business. During his time with the Newsagents Association he held most positions in the organisation.
Owen was first a member of Gt. Yarmouth Round Table going on to become founding Chairman of Gt. Yarmouth 41 Club and later also becoming a member of Broadland 41 Club, remaining a member of both until his death.
