The past few weeks has seen the sudden demise of one of the Llandrindod 41 Club members. Vic Morgan, who was one of the founder members of the club, passed away at the end of November. He was 67 years of age and a native of Dolgellau in Mid Wales.
During his working life he was highly respected having worked as a bank manager for Midland/HSBC in many branches throughout Mid Wales. These included Cerrigydrudion, Aberystwyth, Newtown, Llanidloes, Knighton and Llandrindod Wells.
Vic was Chairman of Llandrindod Round Table 1988/89 and Chairman of Llandrindod 41 Club in 2000/01.
Vic was a keen sportsman and his interests included golf and in the past years had played football for Dolgellau and Llandrindod Wells Football Clubs . He was a keen walker and had a keen interest in cooking and travel.
He will be sorely missed by his wife Marcia, the family and all of his friends. He will be remembered by those that knew him for his keen sense of humour.
