Graham Strong - Newport 41 Club
It was with great sadness that the members of Newport 41 Club learned of the passing of the Clubs longest serving member GRAHAM STRONG on 20th June 2023 at the age of 96.
Graham joined the Club in 1968, having spend many years in Newport Round Table, and was 41 Club Chairman in 1979/80 and in 2000/01
He was a well respected optician , and served as a magistrate for nearly 30 years.
He also served as a Naval Engineer in the Royal Navy and during his lifetime was a keen golfer, and a member of several local clubs and associations.
He attended every 41 Club meeting until very recently, his wise counsel and company will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
