Contrary to our Skipper's instructions to come second, to avoid having to organise the next one, the Camberley 41 Club golf team won the Annual 41 Club Area 24 Golf Competition at the Downshire on 25th June.Mike Franzkowiak, Chris Bamford, Mike Mawtus and captain John Devlin, won by several points, AND John Devlin won the Longest Drive and Mike Mawtus won Nearest the Pin, 4 feet from the hole, 146 yards from the tee.

Paul Amphlett is organising a Charity Golf Event, on 9th October in aid of Surrey Heath Age Concern. Several of us may want to take part in the event and to support Paul and Age Concern.
