AWARDS
41 Club has a number of ‘awards’ that can be presented for distinguished service to either the Association or a Club.
CLUB AWARDS
SERVICE AWARD
A Club can present to an individual current or past member The Service Award.
This is usually presented for significant, dedicated or continuing service to the Club.
A Service Award jewel can be obtained from National Sales and the cost is born by the Club.
The jewel is engraved on the rear of the fob with the recipient’s name and the year presented.
HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIP
Honorary Life Membership of a Club can be awarded for exceptional and outstanding service to the Club.
This is the highest honour that a Club can bestow on an individual member.
An Honorary Life Membership jewel can be obtained from National Sales and the cost is born by the Club.
The jewel is engraved on the rear of the fob with the recipient’s name and the year presented.
NATIONAL AWARDS
THE ASSOCIATION AWARD
The Association Award can be awarded for significant service to the wider Association beyond club level over an extended period. This is the second highest honour that the Association can bestow on an individual.
Again this can be a current or past member of a constituent club.
This award must be nominated by a National Officer or a retiring National Councillor, who has served at least three consecutive years on Council. Nominators can only make one nomination in four consecutive years.
An appropriately worded citation must be lodged with the National Secretary by the nominator and this has to be approved by a small sub-committee from the National Board – if approved it has to be ratified by the whole National Council.
