Hugh and Shan Milward took part in the 41 Club Classic Car Rally in Cheshire over the weekend of 4th/5th July, the second time this event has been held. Visits were made to Cheshire attractions such as the Anderton Boat Lift, Jodrell Bank and the Concorde display at Manchester Airport. Not sure whether Hugh's Volvo counts as a 'classic' car though... As some of you may have read in the National Newsletter this week, there is a plan for a meeting at Marchesi House in September or October to discuss the future plans and governance of 41 Club. Clubs have been invited to attend (up to a maximum of 20) and you will note that one of the clubs to be represented is Ashby. This allows people to keep in touch with whatever the club is doing and join in with their activities as and when you wish to. There is no membership fee and no mandatory attendance policy.
